「適当」って言葉を使うと、「いいかげん」って意味で取られてしまうことがある。でも、「適切」って言うと少しお堅い感じだ。だから、「『
cursory、dishonest、irresponsible、shoddy、slapdash、sloppy』ではなく、『proper、feasible、suitable』という意味の適当でやってください」って私は言うのでした(嘘)。
